Assessment 2: Different Assessment Types

This workshop is mandatory for UTQ/BKO candidates, but we invite all interested SBE teachers to join us. Colleagues who already obtained their UTQ following this workshop can be rewarded with CPD hours. For any questions about this workshop feel free to contact the Learning Academy.

About the course

When designing a course, you as a course coordinator can choose from a variety of assessment types such as papers, presentations, written exams, etc. However, when you do need to choose which assessment method? This workshop helps you to decide which assessment methods best fit the learning goals you have formulated and helps you to set-up assessment criteria for your chosen method(s). Furthermore, the workshop provides you with insights on diverse types of assessment rubrics and helps you to provide students with constructive feedback on their learning results.

After completing this workshop, you will:

  • Understand different types of assessment 
  • Select the revelant type of assessment
  • Apply different types of assessment to various teaching settings
  • Reflect on assessment practices
