About the course

This is the second workshop of four workshops on course design. In this workshop, we build further on a course you are either (co-)coordinating or where you can practice course design, and together we explore how you can increase students’ learning and engagement in your course.

Objectives

After completing this workshop, you will:

  • Understand the alignment between learning objectives and teaching activities using Bloom’s taxonomy.
  • Assess the current and desired alignment between learning objectives and teaching activities in your course.
  • Apply motivational theories to understanding student behaviour.
  • Apply motivational theories to course design and teaching delivery for increased learner engagement and motivation.
