This workshop is mandatory for UTQ/BKO candidates, and for all colleagues who engage in master thesis supervision now or in the future. About the course
In this workshop, we will practice how to manage critical incidents in the master thesis supervision process, we get to know the support network for master thesis students, including a meeting with a student counselor who provides advice on how to effectively help students who face challenges. There is also room for questions and exchange of best practices regarding the master thesis supervision process.
Objectives
After completing this workshop, you will:
- Know when to refer to academic advising.
- Have insight into pitfalls when supervising master students.
- Deal with challenging thesis supervision cases, such as managing conflicts.
