Assessment: Open-ended Questions and Papers

12 12 people viewed this event.

Papers and open-ended question exams are assessment methods often used at SBE. However, compared to multiple-choice exams, correcting these types of exams is less straightforward and often prone to subjective decisions. Moreover, one may question whether student’s answers reflect their true mastery of knowledge and skills acquired during a course. Considering constructive alignment, this workshop addresses designing and constructing assessment tools that can objectify your decisions while grading.
